Relay for Life Postponed

April 17, 2009 — The Relay For Life fundraiser scheduled for April 17-18 at the University of Wyoming has been postponed until April 25-26, at Half Acre Gym.

The event supports cutting-edge cancer research and helps provide free transportation to hospitals, publish life-saving literature, prevent youth smoking and develop a new generation of weapons to fight cancer, says Lindsay Kowalski, UW Relay for Life chair.

The UW chapter of the Relay For Life is completely separate from the Albany County chapter, which will hold its relay on June 19-20. These are two distinct events.
