These are among the activities scheduled at the University of Wyoming from Friday, May 1, through Thursday, May 7.
Friday, May 1, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. -- Sigma Alpha Sorority will host a fundraiser with lunch catered by Texas Roadhouse, Prexy's Pasture.
Friday, May 1, 7 p.m. -- Annual Torchlight Laurels student recognition ceremony, College of Arts and Sciences auditoriium.
Friday, May 1, 7 p.m. -- Laramie River Rendezvous Rodeo, Cliff and Martha Hansen Livestock Teaching Arena. Cost is $5 for adults, $3 for students age 12 years and older and free to UW students and children under 12.
Friday, May 1, 7:30 p.m. -- A conducting class will hold a free concert in the Fine Arts Center concert hall.
Saturday, May 2, 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. and Sunday, May 3, 1 p.m. -- Laramie River Rendezvous Rodeo, Cliff and Martha Hansen Livestock Teaching Arena. Cost is $5 for adults, $3 for students age 12 years and older and free to UW students and children under 12.
Saturday, May 2, 1-6 p.m. -- UW's 10th Annual Undergraduate Research Day will showcase undergraduate students as they present their research in a wide variety of areas. Oral presentations will be in the Classroom Building form 1-5:30 p.m. and poser presentations will be in the Wyoming Union Family Room from 4:30-6 p.m.
