University of Wyoming economics professor Edward Barbier will be among the featured presenters June 4-5 at Climate Change Conference 2009 (CC9) at Hafslund Manor in Sarpsborg, Norway.
The international symposium will bring together more than 100 representatives from politics, industry and academia to contribute specific ideas to facilitate the establishment of a fair climate agreement.

UW's John S. Bugas Professor of Economics, Barbier has more than 20 years of experience as an environmental and resource economist, working mainly on the economics of environment and development issues. He also has served as a consultant for a variety of national, international and non governmental agencies, including many UN organizations and the World Bank.
