Western States Energy and Environment Symposium Planning Meeting
June 8, 2009 — The Western States Energy and Environment Symposium Steering Committee, pursuant to 2009 House Bill 295, will meet via teleconference call at noon Wednesday, June 10. The public is welcome to attend in the School of Energy Resources conference room on the second floor of the Bureau of Mines Building at the University of Wyoming.
The committee will finalize the symposium agenda including format and confirmed speakers, for the symposium scheduled Oct. 25-27 at Teton Village.
Steering committee members are: Wyoming State Sen. John Schiffer; Wyoming State Rep. Tom Lubnau; Michael Peevey, president of the California Public Utilities Commission; Kyle Davis, director of Environmental Policy and Strategy at PacifiCorp; and Bill Schilling, president of the Wyoming Business Alliance/Wyoming Heritage Foundation.
