Molina Soleil and Aju, a hip-hop/eclectic duo, will perform Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 8 p.m. in the University of Wyoming Union Ballroom.

The performance, sponsored by the University of Wyoming Campus Activities Council, (CAC) is free and open to the public.

Soleil is a nationally acclaimed poet and performance artist who graduated from law school in 2006 as a first-generation college student. He decided to forgo a career in law and follow his passion, working as an artist, educator and youth advocate. Soleil's streetwise lyrics reflect his sense of social responsibility.

Aju is a poet, dancer and vocalist from Japan. Her work focuses on her experiences as an Asian-American woman and also her concerns for human rights and the global environment.

Soleil and Aju plan to release their fourth and fifth albums later this year.
