The University of Wyoming National Society of Collegiate Scholars chapter will induct new members Wednesday, Sept. 10, at 6 p.m. in the College of Agriculture auditorium.
"Members of NSCS join by invitation-only as freshmen or sophomores with a 3.4 GPA or higher and rank in the top 20 percent of their class," says Sheryl-Ann Stake, UW chapter president. "NSCS offers leadership training, study abroad opportunities and is a great networking tool while in college and while job hunting."
The UW chapter has about 180 active members who meet the first Thursday of every month. Nominated UW underclassmen and their families are invited to attend the induction ceremony.
