Classical Wyoming Radio Comes to Sweetwater County

September 30, 2009 — A new radio station offering classical music, full time, can now be heard 24 hours daily in most of Sweetwater County.

UW Labor Day Closures

September 3, 2009 — University of Wyoming offices will be closed and classes dismissed Monday, Sept. 7, for the Labor Day holiday. Regular hours (8 a.m.-5 p.m.) will resume Tuesday, Sept. 8.

To date, UW has received several letters and a petition signed by more than 100 individuals who believe the university has erred in its decision to name the facility after the Cheney family.
