Pooja Gupta
The University of Wyoming Seiyo Shorin-Ryu Karate and Kobudo Club recognized its member Pooja Gupta, who recently graduated with a Ph.D. in molecular biology.
Gupta earned an M.S. degree in organic chemistry at Delhi University in India, and an M.S. degree in materials chemistry from Polytechnic University in New York. While at UW, Gupta was treasurer of the Indian Student Organization (Milaap), the secretary/treasurer of the International Student Association, and the secretary/vice-president of the Molecular Biology Graduate Student Organization.
The UW Seiyo Shorin-Ryu Karate and Kobudo Club meets in the Education Building gym Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7-9 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m.-noon.
