Shogren Receives National Association's Most Prestigious Honor

Jason Shogren, UW's Stroock Professor of Natural Resource Conservation and Management in the Department of Economics and Finance, recently was named a fellow of the Agricultural & Applied Economics Association (AAEA). It is the association's most prestigious honor, according to the AAEA Web site.

Shogren has been active in the professional association since 1990. Members are involved in research, teaching and outreach activities in areas such as the economics of agriculture, international and rural development, resources and the environment, food and consumer issues and agribusiness.

The AAEA recognition is the latest of many honors for Shogren. See the recent profile in UWYo magazine.
