"Same Ol' Cowboys, Whole New Rodeo" is the theme of the 2009 University of Wyoming Homecoming Week Oct. 3-10, with activities including reunions, seminars, hospitality events, campus tours and open houses.

Among the highlights:
Thursday, Oct. 8, at 6 p.m., the annual Iron Skull Homecoming Sing takes place in
the College of Arts and Sciences auditorium. A Homecoming dance open to students and
the public will follow at 8:30 in the Wyoming Union ballroom. Live music, activities
and free food and drink will be provided.
The UW Symphony Orchestra will open its 2009-2010 season with a performance in the
Fine Arts Center concert hall at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Tickets cost $10 for the public,
$6 for students and $7 for seniors.
The annual Keith and Thyra Thomson Honors Convocation will feature speaker Dan Haley,
editor of the Denver Post, Friday, Oct. 9, at 2:30 p.m. in the College of Arts and
Sciences auditorium.
UW's Homecoming parade is Saturday, Oct. 10, at 9:30 a.m. The parade starts at 9th and
Ivinson streets, goes west to 2nd Street, south on 2nd Street to Grand Avenue, then
east on Grand to 12th Street.
The Homecoming football game against New Mexico kicks off Saturday at noon at War
Memorial Stadium.
