Vibraphonist to Perform at UW

Vibraphonist Greg Harris will give a free performance in the Wyoming Union ballroom on Wednesday, Sept. 30, at 8 p.m.

Vibraphonist Greg Harris will perform Wednesday, Sept. 30, at 8 p.m. in the University of Wyoming Union ballroom. The event is free and open to the public.

Harris is a member of bluegrass legend Pete Wernick's "Live Five," and leads his own vibe quintet. Downbeat Magazine recently awarded Harris with "Original Composition, Best Song" and "Outstanding Performance" recognition.

He received his music education and music performance degrees from Fort Lewis College and played percussion at the University of Colorado, Boulder. He is a private instructor and freelance musician in Denver.
