Volunteers in Action Day Brings Opportunities to Students

University of Wyoming students will have an opportunity to work with community agencies on various service projects around Laramie during "Volunteers in Action Day" Saturday, Sept. 19. Volunteers will meet at 9 a.m. in Simpson Plaza and will return around 3 p.m., with lunch and T-shirts provided.

The service projects include a Curt Gowdy State Park nature trail reclamation, office organization at Interfaith Good Samaritan, roadside cleanup with Cathedral Home and more.

Students should sign up in advance at the Center for Volunteer Service office in Room 6 in the lower level of the Wyoming Union, or e-mail CVS at cvs@uwyo.edu.
