Wyoming Health Fairs will be on campus from 7-10 a.m. Thursday and Friday, Oct. 1 and 2, in the west lobby area of the UW Classroom Building.
The basic blood chemistry profile and seasonal flu shot (regular, not H1N1) will be free for those with Great West insurance. It will not be counted as part of the wellness benefit.
Additional blood tests can be paid for and reimbursed as part of the wellness benefit. Remember to fast for 12 hours unless you are diabetic. Drink plenty of water and take medications as usual.
Blood draws are also offered every Wednesday from 7-10 a.m., at the Laramie Recreation Center at 920 Boulder Drive. Flu shots will be offered at the recreation center starting Oct. 7.
The health fair is scheduled to return to campus Thursday, Nov. 5, in Washakie Center's East Rendezvous Room.
