Oscar-Nominated Movie Screened for International Education Week

November 17, 2009 — Friends of Nepal at the University of Wyoming will present a free screening of the Academy Award-nominated movie "Himalaya" Wednesday, Nov. 18, at 7:30 p.m. in the College of Education auditorium.

The movie screening, part of International Education Week, will include pizza, beverages and postcards, followed by movie trivia and prizes.

Set in the 16,400 foot Nepalese Himalayas, the film tells the story of an ancient tribe that led a caravan of yaks across the mountains.
