UW Hockey Club Returns to Ice This Weekend

December 2, 2009 — Following a 13-day Thanksgiving break, the University of Wyoming hockey club returns to the ice this weekend with a pair of games against Metropolitan State College of Denver.

The Cowboys (10-5) and Roadrunners (5-10) meet Friday at the Taco John's Events Center in Cheyenne and Saturday at the Laramie Community Ice Arena. Faceoff is 7 both nights.

UW hasn't played since winning two of three games at the Clash in the Corn tournament Nov. 19-21 in Iowa.
