Barbara Chatton Retirement Reception

April 26, 2010 — A retirement reception honoring Barbara Chatton, professor in the Department of Elementary and Early Childhood Education, will be held Wednesday, May 5, in Salons F&G at the Hilton Garden Inn and UW Conference Center. A special presentation is scheduled at 6 p.m.

Chatton arrived at UW in 1982. Her teaching interests include: Children's poetry, historical fiction, literature across the curriculum and literature-based reading instruction. She writes and speaks frequently on children's poetry and the literature of the American West.
