Open Houses, Groundbreakings, Grand Openings

August 23, 2010 — Ceremonies in coming weeks will provide opportunities to participate in open houses, dedications and groundbreaking ceremonies at the University of Wyoming. Among the scheduled activities are:

Thursday, Aug. 26, 5-8 p.m. -- An open house and tours of the Wildcatter Stadium Club & Suites at War Memorial Stadium. Fans will have an opportunity to purchase seats for the coming football season.

Friday, Aug. 27, 5-7 p.m. -- An open house and tours at the Bim Kendall House, southeast corner of 8th and Fremont streets, is the new home of the Ruckelshaus Institute and Helga Otto Haub School of Environment and Natural Resources and the Wyoming Conservation Corps. The Harold Bergman Gardens will be formally dedicated.

Wednesday, Sept. 1, 10 a.m. -- A groundbreaking ceremony for the new Visual Arts Center at the corner of 22nd Street and Willett Drive.

Thursday, Sept. 16, 11 a.m. -- Grand opening for the new College of Business Building.

An open house at the renovated Kendall House is scheduled Friday, Aug. 27, from 5-7 p.m.
