UW Extension Service Educators Receive National Honors

National Association of County Agricultural Agents national awards were presented to a University of Wyoming Cooperative Extension Service horticulturist and a specialist.

The awards were received during the association's recent annual conference in Tulsa, Okla.

Donna Cuin, horticulture program associate in Natrona County, received the Achievement Award. There were 52 others nominated for the national award.

Steve Paisley, extension beef specialist, received the Distinguished Service award. There were 70 nominations. Paisley, an associate professor in the Department of Animal Science, is based at the James C. Hageman Sustainable Agriculture Research and Extension Center near Lingle.

Kellie Chichester, an educator based in Albany County, was also honored as the outgoing committee chair at the national level.
