Suzy Pelican
Suzy Pelican, a food and nutrition specialist with the University of Wyoming Cooperative Extension Service, has received the Society for Nutrition Education's Helen Denning Ullrich Award of Excellence.
Pelican, in the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, received the award for her record of outstanding achievement and acknowledged contributions to the field of nutrition education, said Professor Donna Brown, head of the department.
The Helen Denning Ullrich Award is the most prestigious honor given by the organization.
