The University of Wyoming Delta Delta Delta chapter will host a 24-hour all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 6 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, to 6 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 31, at the chapter house located at 1616 E. Sorority Row in Laramie. Tickets, available at the door, cost $5 per person.

All proceeds benefit Tri Delta's national philanthropy, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Last year the pancake feed raised $6,000 for the cause.

"The pancake breakfast is a great event for a great cause," says Claire Butler, Tri Delta member and event organizer.

Located in Memphis, Tenn., St. Jude's treats and researches pediatric cancer. Each year, the hospital receives $70 million in federal funds, but Butler notes that the hospital's operating costs are more than $1 million daily, with public donations covering the gap.
