Monday, Oct. 4, 9-10 a.m. -- "Life Span and Human Development: Positive Ethnic Identity Development for Chicano/a Youth" by Andrea J. Romero, professor of family studies, human development and Mexican American Studies at the University of Arizona, College of Eduation auditorium.

Monday, Oct. 4, 12:30-2 p.m. -- "!El Movimiento Sigue!: How Being Engaged with Anti-Ethnic Studies Arizona Legislation Keeps Chicano/a Students Healthy" will be discussed in the Multicultural Resource Center (MRC) from 12:30-2 p.m.

Monday, Oct. 4, 6-7 p.m. -- "Engaging Chicano Studies Students with Arizona's Anti-Ethnic Studies Bill," Andrea J. Romero, professor of Mexican American Studies at the University of Arizona, Wyoming Union East Ballroom.

Monday, Oct. 4, 7-9 p.m. -- Screening of "Canvas" starring Joe Pantoliano about mental health and dealing with the stigma. Free and open to the public, Wyoming Union Senate Chambers.

Monday, Oct. 4, 8:30-9:30 p.m. -- Screening of Joe Pantoliano's "No Kidding, Me Too!" documentary about dealing with depression and the stigma, Washakie Center, Rendezvous Room. Free and open to the public.

Tuesday, Oct. 5, 7-8 p.m. -- Joe Pantoliano to speak on dealing with depression and mental health stigma reduction for Mental Health Awareness Week in the Wyoming Union Ballroom.

Wednesday, Oct. 6, noon -- Dan Socall will lead a discussion on Kay Redfield Jamison's book, "An Unquiet Mind" in the Ellbogen Center for Teaching and Learning, Coe Library, Room 510.

Wednesday, Oct. 6, 7-9 p.m. -- "Canvas" starring Joe Pantoliano about depression and fighting the stigma in Washakie Center, Rendezvous Room. Free and open to the public.

Wednesday, Oct. 6, 8 p.m. -- Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT) Rights Activist Dan Choi to speak at UW in the Wyoming Union Ballroom.

Thursday, Oct. 7, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. -- Depression screenings for all students sponsored by the Lifesavers' Coalition, Health Sciences Building, Rooms 327, 329 and 352. Free.

Thursday, Oct. 7, 4:10 p.m. -- "Jane Austen for Smarties," author and Jane Austen scholar Joan Klingel Ray, professor at CU-Colorado Springs, College of Business auditorium. Free.

Thursday, Oct. 7, 7-10 p.m. -- Associated Students of Performing Arts will perform two improvised comedy shows in the style of the popular television show, "Whose Line is it Anyway?", Wyoming Union Ballroom.

Friday, Oct. 8, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. -- David A. Fohrman will speak about Traumatic Stress Recovery for Veterans, Wyoming Union Family Room.

Friday, Oct. 8, 4:10 p.m. -- Paul Shankman from CU-Boulder will talk about his recently published book, "The Trashing of Margaret Mead. Anatomy of a Controversy," College of Anthropology Building, Room 150. Free.

Friday, Oct. 8, 7 p.m. -- Mental Health Awareness Week suicide vigil sponsored by Active Minds, Simpson Plaza.

Sunday, Oct. 10, 3 p.m. -- Graduate recital with Larissa Paggioli de Carvalho on piano in the Fine Arts Center concert hall. Free and open to the public.

Sunday, Oct. 10, 7:30 p.m. -- The Complete Sonatas for Violin and Piano of Johannes Brahms, featuring John Fadial, violin, with guest artist Andrew Harley, piano, in the Fine Arts Center concert hall.
