UW Receives Channel 5 Sustainability Award

October 18, 2010 — Cheyenne television station KGWN channel 5 has presented its first sustainability award to the University of Wyoming and will feature UW sustainability efforts in its "Growing Green" news series this week.

The feature is scheduled to be shown Tuesday, Oct. 19, 6 p.m.; Thursday, Oct. 21, 4:30 p.m.; and Sunday, Oct. 24, 10:30 p.m.

Channel 5 personnel interviewed several UW staff members for the feature. Included are segments on UW recycling; the Acres student farm; the new College of Business Building; and the Summit View Apartment demolition project.
