Service-Learning Mini-Grant Applications Due Friday, Dec. 3

November 8, 2010 — Grants ranging from $500-$1,000 to promote service learning activities are now offered to UW faculty and staff.

The Service, Leadership, and Community Engagement (SLCE) Office has Service-Learning Mini-Grants available. Grant applications are due Friday, Dec. 3 and projects should be completed by the end of Fall 2011 semester.

Applications can be found on the SLCE website at www.uwyo.edu/slce.

Grants provide funds to implement new service-learning projects or improve  established projects in existing courses. The Service-Learning Mini-Grants seek to encourage opportunities for active student experiences that enhance classroom learning by addressing community needs.
