UW Trustees Approve Personnel Appointments

University of Wyoming trustees approved the following personnel appointments during their business meeting Thursday, Nov. 18.

Faculty Appointments:

College of Arts & Sciences

Ruth E. Toulson, as assistant professor in the Department of Anthropology. Toulson received her B.A (2000), M.A. (2001) and PhD. (2009) degrees in social anthropology from the University of Cambridge, Newnham College. She previously taught at Denison University in Ohio.

College of Health Sciences

Caroline Kirsch Russell as clinical assistant professor in the Family Medicine Residency Program, Casper. Kirsch Russell received a B.S. (1993) and M.A. (1995) degrees from the University of Wyoming, and a Ph.D. (1996) from the University of Kentucky. She also received a second B.S. (2002) from UW, and a D.O. (2007) from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. Kirsch Russell completed her residency (2010) at the UW Family Medicine Residency Program at Casper.

Karlynn D. Sievers as clinical assistant professor in the Family Medicine Residency Program, Casper. Sievers received a B.S. (1996) in life science and B.A. (1996) degrees in English from the University of Missouri -Rolla and an M.D. (2001) from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She completed her residency (2004) at the University of Missouri-Kansas City Family Practice. Sievers has been a physician at St. John's Clinic-Rolla Family Practice since 2004.

Academic Professional Appointments:

College of Agriculture and Natural Resources

Joseph Cody Molle as assistant research scientist in the Department of Animal Science. Molle received a B.S. (1992) degree in agriculture business from UW. He served as the livestock manager for the Wyoming State Veterinary Laboratory from 1993-2001. He worked as a research scientist at UW from 2003-2004, and as assistant to the superintendent and operations director of the Fort Keogh Livestock and Range Research Laboratory from 2005-2009. Molle's most recent position was senior project coordinator at SAREC in Lingle.

College of Arts & Sciences

Brianna R. Wright as assistant lecturer in the Department of Botany. Wright received a B.S. (2005) degree in biology/secondary teaching certification from the University of Wisconsin, and an M.S. (2007) in botany from UW. Wright has been an assistant lecturer at UW since 2008.
