Friends, we are nearing year's end, and I want to take a last shot at hitting our 2010 University of Wyoming United Way of Albany County Goal. We are currently $7,376 short of our goal of $108,771. Many of you have already pitched in, and our agencies are the stronger for that. Also, many of you have other important philanthropies you support.
But just a reminder: If you did mean to write your check or make your pledge to United Way this year, and the material got lost on your desk (as it does on mine, frequently), or you got otherwise waylaid, please do it now. You can send a check to 710 E. Garfield, Suite 116 in Laramie, 82070, or you can go to the Payroll Office in the Old Ivinson Hospital Building and fill out a pledge card to give some amount each month.
Certainly any amount will help. The need in our community is great, and the United Way Board ensures that each dollar is spent wisely and well.
