University of Wyoming Calendar for Jan. 31

These are among activities scheduled Jan. 31- Feb. 6 at the University of Wyoming:

Monday, Jan. 31, 5-7 p.m. -- Opening reception for "Right to Know, Right to Decide," a photo exhibition depicting the rights of impoverished people worldwide, Gallery 234 of the University of Wyoming Union. Free. The exhibition can be seen through Thursday, Feb. 3.

Monday, Jan. 31, 7 p.m. -- Art Talk: Rebecca Solnit, "The Laramie Atlas Project: A Work-in-Progress," UW Art Museum. Free.

Wednesday, Feb. 2, 6 p.m. -- Men's basketball vs. BYU, Arena-Auditorium.

Wednesday, Feb. 2, 7:30 p.m. -- Performance from Brazilian Music for Viola and Piano: Guest artist Glesse Collet, viola, with Theresa Bogard, piano, Fine Arts concert hall. $7 general admission, $5 students and senior citizens.

Wednesday, Feb. 2, 8 p.m. -- The Second City Improv sketch comedy, College of Arts and Sciences auditorium. Free.

Thursday, Feb. 3, 6:30 p.m. -- Wrestling vs. Air Force, UniWyo Sports Complex. 

Thursday, Feb. 3-Saturday, Feb. 5, 7:30 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 6, 2 p.m. and Feb. 7-8, 7:30 p.m. -- The UW Department of Theatre and Dance presents the comedy "Books on Tape," Fine Arts Main Stage. $14 general admission, $11 senior citizens, $8 students.
