Enhanced Oil Recovery Commission to Meet May 9 in Casper

The state's Enhanced Oil Recovery Commission will meet from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday, May 9, at the Petroleum Club, 1301 Wilkins Circle in Casper. The meeting is open to the public.

Enhanced Oil Recovery Institute Director David Mohrbacher will review results from the previous year and outline changes to the Strategic Plan for the coming biennium. Glen Murrell, associate director, will provide an update of outreach efforts and the progress of technology transfer projects, such as conferences, for the coming year.

The Enhanced Oil Recovery Commission is funded by the state of Wyoming to support the EORI at the University of Wyoming. In addition to its aggressive research agenda, EORI engages in cooperative and contractual agreements with independent producers, and offers short courses, workshops and technical outreach meetings to assist in the transfer of current EOR technologies to Wyoming producers.
