Maggie Smith Exhibition Opens at UW

April 6, 2011 — Maggie Smith's exhibition "Water" can be seen from April 11-20, in Wyoming Union Gallery 234, Room 004 at the University of Wyoming.

A reception for the artist is Monday, April 11, from 5-7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

Smith is a non-traditional student from Steamboat Springs, Colo., who has returned to school to pursue a BFA degree. She is focused on the areas of printmaking and painting with an interest in sculpture.

All works in the exhibition are related in some manner to water. Smith's other work also can be viewed at the Artists' Gallery and the Center for the Visual Arts in Steamboat Springs.
