Student Affairs Outstanding Contributors Recognized

ASUW senior accounting associate, Kristy Issak received the "Outstanding Non-Exempt Staff Member," award at the annual Student Affairs recognition luncheon. Isaak is among recipients of the Student Affairs Outstanding Service Awards.

The recipients of the Student Affairs Outstanding Service Awards were honored at the recent annual recognition luncheon at the University of Wyoming.

Outstanding Service Awards are presented to individuals who have "exceeded the call of duty and who have excelled in demonstrating initiative, innovations and creativeness; reliability, responsibility and dependability; quality and quantity of work performed; relationship building with students, fellow staff and others; and a positive can-do attitude in the workplace."

The recipients of this year's awards are:

Larry Barttelbort of the Wyoming Veterans Commission, who received the "Outstanding External Contributor" award.

Kathy Bobbitt, Student Financial Aid associate director, who received the "Outstanding Exempt Staff Member" award.

Barry Gasdek of the Wyoming Veterans Commission, who also received the "Outstanding External Contributor" award.

Elizabeth Gerstner, intramural sports supervisor and UW senior majoring in physiology, who received the "Outstanding Student Contributor" award.

Kristy Isaak, ASUW senior accounting associate, who received the "Outstanding Non-Exempt Staff Member" award.

"Congratulations to Kathy, Kristy, Elizabeth, Barry and Larry for their outstanding efforts and contributions to supporting students. These five individuals are well deserving of this recognition and we appreciate their dedication," says Sara Axelson, vice president for student affairs.
