Julianne Arthur Hired as STOP Violence Program Coordinator

Julianne (Jules) Arthur has been hired as coordinator for STOP Violence, a program whose mission is to prevent domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking on the University of Wyoming campus.

As coordinator, Arthur will develop and coordinate programs designed to increase awareness and to prevent sexual violence; provide crisis management, support/advocacy and resources to people affected by sexual violence; co-coordinate and train student peer educators; chair the STOP Coalition; and work collaboratively with UW and community agencies to enhance prevention and response efforts.

Arthur, who will complete her master's degree in student affairs and higher education in August at Indiana State University, will begin work July 25 at UW.
