University of Wyoming Calendar for July 25

These are among the activities scheduled July 25-31 at the University of Wyoming:

Wednesday, July 27, 11:45 a.m.-1p.m. -- Nevada band The Novelists will perform as part of a weekly series of lunch time concerts at UW's Simpson Plaza. Free.

Wednesday, July 27, 6 p.m. -- A public reception and program launch for The Historical Living Project that features historic homes and oral history accounts of Laramie at Alice Hardie Stevens Center, Laramie Plains Museum at the Historic Ivinson Mansion. Free.

Wednesday, July 27, 7 p.m. -- Snowy Range Summer Dance Festival student showcase performance in the UW College of Arts and Sciences Auditorium. Free.

Wednesday, July 27, 7:30 p.m. -- The Laramie Municipal Band concert series continues at the Washington Park band shell. Free.

Thursday, July 28, 8:30 a.m. -- Denver trip to Elitch Gardens. Students, faculty, staff and non UW personal may purchase tickets, which includes transportation, at the Wyoming Union Information Desk. $20.

Friday, July 29, 4:30 p.m. -- Bus trip to see the Zac Brown Band perform at Cheyenne Frontier Days. UW students, faculty, staff and non UW personnel may purchase tickets, which includes transportation, at the Wyoming Union Information Desk. $20.

Saturday, July 30, 4 p.m. -- The Snowy Range Summer Dance Festival will conclude with the Gala Concert in the College of Arts and Sciences auditorium. Admission is $10.50 for tickets purchased in advance or $12.00 at the door.
