Wednesday, Aug. 31, 8 p.m. -- Chicago-based indie rock band Scattered Trees perform in the UW Union Ballroom. Free.

Thursday, Sept. 1, 11 a.m. -- Reception for "Circle of Light" photography exhibition, Gallery 234 in the lower level of the UW Union. Free.

Friday, Sept. 2 -- College Colors Day -- Wear UW colors and merchandise to support the Cowboys before their first game.
