Comedian Ross Mathews performs Friday, Sept. 16, at 9 p.m., in the University of Wyoming College of Arts and Sciences auditorium. This event is free and open to students and the public.

Mathews began his career as an intern on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," pouring coffee, making copies and eventually interviewing George Clooney and the gang at the premiere of "Ocean's Eleven." He is now a regular on "Chelsea Lately" and recently signed a deal to host a pilot late-night talk show on "E!"

He has appeared on "Days of our Lives," "The View," "Extra" and "The Insider," and has continued his work with Leno as a correspondent. Mathews also hosts many Red Carpet events and award shows to get the inside scoop from all the celebrities.

At UW, he will speak on his experiences climbing the Hollywood ladder and discuss his humorous take on pop culture. "E! Entertainment Television" named Mathews one of the 30 Most Outrageous Celebrities.
