Larry Fenster, a successful private investor and accomplished entrepreneur, will speak at the University of Wyoming's Wyoming Technology Business Center (WTBC) StartWest meeting at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, at the Sheridan Holiday Inn.

"StartWest/e2e is an educational networking program designed to improve the climate for start-ups and growth of entrepreneurial companies," says John Dick, WTBC assistant director. "At the five meetings held each year, the entrepreneurs mingle together and meet with business service providers."

Fenster is involved in several start-up and early stage energy companies. The director of ICVrx, LLC in Aurora, Colo., he will share his extensive experiences developing successful businesses.

In 1977, Fenster co-founded Natkin Energy Management, a successful national energy performance contracting company located in Englewood, Colo. He served from 1981 to 1997 as the president of Natkin Energy Management, and its successor, ServiceMaster Energy Management.

Fenster has invested in 20 early stage/start-up companies in the Denver area that focus on energy, biotech and technology. He is a limited partner in several micro seed stage funds and also involved with venture capital.
