Canadian stand-up comedian Kelly Taylor will perform a free show, Wednesday, Oct. 19, at 8 p.m. in the University of Wyoming Union Ballroom.

Hockey-player-turned-comedian, Taylor has quickly gained recognition from individual comedy enthusiasts as well as big name comedians and corporations such as Jimmy Kimmel, NBC Universal and Happy Gilmore Productions. After only three years in the industry, he has opened for the likes of Rich Hall, Eddie Brill and Blake Clark and is now touring colleges in the United States and Canada.

"I saw Kelly at a convention and felt his comedy would be a perfect match for students at the University of Wyoming," says Anna Rader, Student Activities Council lead programmer. "If you like hockey, Canada or simply enjoy having a good laugh, you need to come see Kelly Taylor."
