Funding from the Small Business Jobs Act will enable the Wyoming Entrepreneur Small Business Development Center (WSBDC) to offer up to five hours of professional human resources consultation at no charge to small business owners.
Employers ready to hire their first employees may not know how to create an employee training program or orientation. The WSBDC will offer training to help with these and many other human resource-related issues, says Beth Unger, WSBDC business adviser. The WSBDC consultants are trained, experienced, certified human resource professionals.
With its main office located on the University of Wyoming campus, the WSBDC is part of WyomingEntrepreneur.Biz, a collection of business assistance programs at UW in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration and the Wyoming Business Council. The WSBDC helps to strengthen Wyoming businesses and create economic growth by providing management assistance, educational programs and helpful resources for Wyoming small businesses and entrepreneurs.
