A University of Wyoming north India art class exhibition, "Tigers and Tagore: Reflections on North India," can be seen Monday, Oct. 10-Wednesday, Oct. 26 in Gallery 234 in the lower level of the Wyoming Union.

A reception for the artists is scheduled from 5-6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13. This event is free and open to the public.

The exhibition will showcase the work of eight students who traveled to India for one month last summer. The students were immersed in daily Indian life, giving them a strong comparison to American culture. Each piece exhibited will be the result of the students' response to their experience with their travels. Pieces from this project can also be viewed Sunday, Oct. 9-Saturday, Oct. 22, in the Fine Arts UP Gallery.
