More than 100 seniors will exhibit and present individual and team design projects during the University of Wyoming College of Engineering and Applied Science 17th annual Senior Design Symposium beginning at 8 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, in Rooms 1062, 2101, 2104 and 2105 of the Engineering Building.

Their projects, open to the public, will be judged by more than 25 professionals representing business, industry, and the university. A complete schedule of presentations can be found at http://wwweng.uwyo.edu/news/111122/SrDesign2011.pdf.

"The Senior Design Symposium provides our graduating seniors the opportunity to defend their capstone design project to a panel of judges. It also provides families an opportunity to see the high level of achievement of our student engineers and scientists," says Steve Barrett, associate dean of academic programs.

The UW College of Engineering and Applied Science, Rocky Mountain Power Foundation and the Volpi/Cupal Engineering Design Fund sponsor the symposium. For more information, call the College of Engineering and Applied Science at (307) 766-4253 or email engevents@uwyo.edu.
