UW Hockey Club Loses Two Games

January 23, 2012 — The University of Wyoming hockey club suffered a pair of lopsided losses last weekend against Williston (N.D.) State College.

After winning two games against the University of Colorado-Denver by a combined score of 31-5 the previous weekend, the Cowboys (5-13) were outscored 22-2 by the Tetons. Taylor Freeman (Parker, Colo.) and Dustin Galbreath (Highlands Ranch, Colo.) netted UW's only goals of the weekend series.

The Cowboys play home games this weekend against Border War rival Colorado State University (Friday, 8:30 p.m.) and the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs (Saturday, 8:30 p.m.).
