University of Wyoming Calendar for Feb. 20-26


February 17, 2012 — These are among activities scheduled Feb. 20-26 at the University of Wyoming:

Monday, Feb. 20-Wednesday, March 7 -- Gallery 234 Exhibition-"Aarti Home Photovoice Project: Visual Stories of Suffering, Spirit & Hope in India," Gallery 234, lower level, Wyoming Union. Free.

Monday, Feb. 20, 5 p.m. -- Five University of Wyoming faculty members from a range of disciplines will discuss the exhibition "Edward Burtynsky: The Industrial Sublime" at the UW Art Museum. Free.

Tuesday, Feb. 21, 6 p.m. - Women's basketball vs. San Diego State,  Arena-Auditorium. $12 for adults, $6 youths.

Wednesday, Feb. 22-Thursday Feb.23, 7 p.m. - BANFF Mountain Film Festival "World Tour," Arts and Sciences auditorium. Free.

Thursday, Feb. 23, 7:30 p.m. - UW Symphony Orchestra and UW choir perform "Brahms Requiem," Fine Arts concert hall. $10.50 general public, $7.50 seniors, $6.50 students.

 Friday, Feb. 24, 7-8 p.m. - Planetarium show "Moons," Physical Sciences/Biological Science annex. $2 for students, $3 non-students, children free.

Friday, Feb. 24, 7:30-9:30 p.m. - Cultural Programs presents Take 6, a cappella, Arts and Sciences auditorium. $27 general public, $23 seniors and non-UW students. UW students free with valid student ID.

Saturday, Feb. 25, 2 p.m. - Men's basketball vs. Boise State,  Arena-Auditorium. $16 for adults, $8 youths.

Saturday, Feb. 25, 3 p.m. - Festival of Voices final concert, Fine Arts Concert Hall. Free.

Sunday, Feb. 26, 5-8 p.m. - Oscar Watching Party, Wyoming Union Family Room. Free.
