UW Summer Programs offers a trip to Denver’s Elitch Gardens Thursday, July 12.

Both University of Wyoming students and non-students can experience the fun of Denver’s Elitch Gardens Thursday, July 12.

Tickets for a UW Summer Programs trip to Elitch Gardens are now being sold at the Wyoming Union information desk. Tickets cost $20 for UW students and $25 for non-UW students. The ticket price includes all-day admission to the theme park plus transportation to and from Denver.

A charter bus will leave the Wyoming Union parking lot at 8 a.m. Thursday and will depart Denver at around 5 p.m. Tickets are limited and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

A family-owned seasonal amusement park and botanic garden, Elitch Gardens is more than 100 years old.

“The theme park offers many thrill rides that are sure to please everyone from the restless thrill-seeker to the easy-going carousel fanatics,” says Kayla Lunemann, UW Summer Programs publicist.
