October 31, 2012 — A Thanksgiving dinner is scheduled Wednesday, Nov. 14, from 5-7 p.m. in the University of Wyoming Union Ballroom. The dinner is free for UW students and children under 12. Tickets cost $5 for non-students and children over 12.

October 31, 2012 — Almost three weeks ago, the National Center for Atmospheric Science (NCAR) unveiled “Yellowstone” during a ceremonial opening of the NCAR-Wyoming Supercomputing Center (NWSC) in Cheyenne. Now, it’s the University of Wyoming’s turn to celebrate Mount Moran.

October 1, 2012 — The Shanghai University String Ensemble joins the University of Wyoming Symphony Orchestra and Venezuelan pianist Gabriela Martinez at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4 in the UW Fine Arts concert hall. Tickets cost $10 for the public, $7 for seniors and $6 for students.
October 1, 2012 — The World Comes to Wyoming Fund is now accepting applications for grants of up to $2,400 per year. Deadline for applications is 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16.
