UW Faculty Recital Series Continues with Showcase Concert Sunday

October 17, 2012 — The University of Wyoming Faculty Showcase concert is at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, in the Fine Arts concert hall. The event is free.

Part of the Faculty Recital Series, the program features faculty members Maureen Boddicker, vocals; Theresa Bogard on piano; John Fadial on violin; Rod Garnett on the Moldovan nai; Nicole Riner on flute; and Beth Vanderborgh on cello; as well as new faculty members Chi-Chen Wu on piano and Mark Soueidi on the trombone.

Music styles range from traditional Eastern European folk music to Western European art music classics and contemporary American composers.

Audience members are invited to meet with the performers after the concert in the Fine Arts lobby. The UW Department of Music sponsors this event. For more information, contact Riner at nriner@uwyo.edu.
