UW Students Invited to Crack the Case at Murder Mystery Night

Murder mystery night will be filled with classic characters played by students.

A murder mystery night is scheduled at 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26, in the University of Wyoming Union Ballroom.

Additionally, the movie “The Dark Knight Rises” will be shown in the Wyoming Union Family Room at 6:30, 9, and 11:30 p.m.

The murder mystery party will bring to life many classic storybook characters including those in stories such as “Alice in Wonderland,” “Huck Finn,” “Dracula,” “Sherlock Holmes” and even Shakespearean characters. The first 100 students will receive characters, but anyone else who participants can still join in.

Each character will receive a card that describes who they are and what they know about the details of the mystery. Players will interact with each other to discover clues that will reveal who killed the king and why. The first players to put the pieces together will receive a prize.

The murder mystery party will include snacks and mocktails, plus a prize for the best Halloween costume.
