January 14, 2013 — All University of Wyoming retirees and near-retirees are invited to attend the monthly meetings of the UW/State Retirees of Albany County beginning at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 21, at the Eppson Center for Seniors, 1560 N. Third St.
The group meets at the Eppson Center the third Monday of each month during the academic year.
The first program speaker is Ron Surdam, director of the Carbon Management Institute in UW’s School of Energy Resources. He will discuss “Energy: A Key to the 21st Century.” The meeting is free.
“These monthly programs provide a forum for good conversation, plus a healthy exchange of information, questions, answers and perhaps rebuttals,” says Lynn Durkee, vice president.
