These are among the activities scheduled Feb. 18-24 at the University of Wyoming:

Wednesday, Feb. 20, 7 p.m. -- Cowgirl basketball vs. San Diego State, Arena-Auditorium. Tickets cost $12 for the public, $6 for children and free for UW students.

Wednesday, Feb. 20, and Thursday, Feb. 21, 7 p.m. -- Banff Mountain Film Festival “World Tour,” Arts and Sciences auditorium. Free.

Thursday, Feb. 21, 12:20-1 p.m. -- UW Volta game show, an opportunity for each college to compete against one another on local to global news events and trivia, Wyoming Union Skylight Lounge. Free.

Thursday, Feb. 21, 5 p.m. -- Marc Marcuse, from the first season of the NBC reality show, “Average Joe,” will discuss how to use college to get ahead in the working world, College of Agriculture auditorium. Free.

Thursday, Feb. 21, 7:30 p.m. -- Festival of Voices choral collage, Fine Arts concert hall. Free.

Friday, Feb. 22, noon -- Wyoming Women’s History month program: “Lassos and Lassies: Gender Whiteness and Power in the Rodeo,” Wyoming Union Room 203. Free.

Friday, Feb. 22, 5 p.m. -- Graduate Symposium speaker Ron Schuchard of Emory University, “The Man Who Suffers and the Mind Which Creates in The Waste Land,” College of Business Building Room 8. Free.

Friday, Feb. 22, 5 p.m. -- Reception for Trevor Cook photography exhibition, Wyoming Union Gallery 234. Free.

Friday, Feb. 22, 7:30 p.m. -- Nota a cappella performance, UW Arts and Sciences auditorium. Tickets cost $24 for the public, $20 for senior citizens, free for UW students. 

Friday, Feb. 22, 7 p.m. -- Eminent writer-in-residence Mark Nowak reads from his works, Second Story Books, 105 Ivinson St. Free.

Saturday, Feb. 23, 1 p.m. -- Graduate Symposium keynote talk by Michelle Jarman of the Wyoming Institute for Disabilities, “Ungrounded Bodies – Contigent Minds,” College of Business Building Room 8. Free.

Saturday, Feb. 23, 3 p.m. -- Festival of Voice final concert, Fine Arts concert hall. Free.

Saturday, Feb. 23, 5:30 p.m. -- Cowboy basketball vs. UNLV, Arena-Auditorium. Tickets cost $18 for the public, $10 for children, and free for UW students.
