February 25, 2013 — The University of Wyoming Student Activities Council will host a Poetry Slam at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, in the Wyoming Union lower level.
Students are able to sign up at the front desk in the Campus Activities Center. Spaces are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.
After signing up, poets will be given a complete list of rules and all work must be their own.
Each poet has up to three minutes to complete his or her reading. Judges will award prizes to the first-, second- and third- place winners.
