March 4, 2013 — The University of Wyoming Staff Senate is selling raffle tickets for two prizes to be awarded at Staff Recognition Day in April.
One prize is the 21-speed Trek 820 mountain bike, valued at about $300. The winner can choose a men’s or women’s model or size.
The second prize is a framed print of Karen Cooper’s painting, “Wood n’ Horse,” a limited edition print for the 2012 Cheyenne Frontier Days Western Art Show and Sale, and donated by the UW President’s Office.
Tickets cost $1 each or $5 for six tickets. They can be purchased from any staff senator or at the Staff Senate Office, Room 225 of Wyoming Hall, or call 766-5300.
The winner will be announced at Staff Recognition Day from 10 a.m.-noon Thursday, April 25. There will be food and 40-50 door prizes, plus hundreds of UW employees will be recognized for years of service to the university.
