Female musical comedians Carlie and Doni will perform at 9 p.m. Friday, April 26, in the Wyoming Union Ballroom.
Additionally, the movie “Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters” will be shown in the Wyoming Union Family Room at 6:30, 9 and 11:30 p.m.
Friday Night Fever sponsors both events.
Carlie and Doni are friends who met in 2005 at a Los Angeles community college. They began writing silly songs and putting together comedic sketches. After Carlie’s mother convinced them to sign up for an open mic night at the Los Angles Comedy Store, they found what they were seeking and have spent the past four years turning their skits into a full-blown show.
The duo was voted Best Comedians in Los Angeles in 2011.
