The Employees’ Group Insurance (EGI) will conduct an audit of covered dependents under the state of Wyoming health and dental insurance plans.
“Such an audit is consistent with insurance industry practice,” says Richard DelaCastro, director of Human Resources at the University of Wyoming. “All employees with dependent coverage can expect a letter from EGI in the next few weeks if the required documentation is not on file.”
The following documentation will be acceptable:
Child -- Birth certificate, adoption paperwork or permanent legal guardianship paperwork.
Stepchild -- Their birth certificate and your marriage certificate.
Married child -- Their birth certificate and their marriage certificate.
Spouse -- Marriage certificate (not a marriage license).
